There are various cues to identify an Imposter. If they give up their search or attack a Reagent, they will exit the Trial via the nearest steel double doors. This can be fatal if a Reagent is low on health, as this attack can deal up to one and a half bars of damage. Once an Imposter is within close proximity to a Reagent, they will pull a knife out, lunge at their target and stab them repeatedly in the torso. Once they spot a Reagent, they will slowly approach them rather than chasing them outright in order to lure them into a false sense of security. Imposters will patrol the Trial area looking for a Reagent while mimicking their movements. Imposters will randomly mimic one of the Reagents present, perfectly imitating their appearance. A blaring alarm will signal their arrival. Similarly to the Pusher, Imposters will periodically emerge from various steel double doors owned by Murkoff.
